Changing Grip Springs

1. Using the hook tool provided, pull on the spring and remove the metal dowel holding the
grip spring in place. After this step, the spring may be slowly released.
System Alert
A fully installed spring experiences a high amount of tension. When the springs are
disengaged, be sure not to let the hook tool slip or the spring may be released at high
velocity. The use of safety glasses is recommended.
