Stow Cables and Plug in the Load Cells

Before connecting the load cells, stow the cables inside the plastic cover beside the actuators,
taking care to handle the connectors by the edges. A circuit board assembly may be attached to
the connector and must be handled carefully. Also, the load cells may have a coiled length of
cable which must be carefully stowed. The initial length of cable should bend towards the outside
edge of the BioTester as shown.
Position the cables inside the cover so that they do not interfere with the actuator carriage travel,
particularly during actuator reset where the carriages are fully retracted. Plug in the load cells
and stow the connector inside the cover as well.
Also use care when unplugging the load cells. This may be done by firmly pressing on the latch
mechanism before pulling it apart. See below photos for reference.
