Setting up an integrated
media block
You can configure CP2308 to work with different models of integrated media blocks, including the
Christie IMB.

Selecting IMB preferences

Choose from the available options to set the type of integrated media block (IMB).
1. To set the type of IMB, tap Service Setup > Preferences.
2. Tap IMB.
3. In the type list, select the type of IMB you are using.
The system prompts you to reboot the projector.
4. To apply the changes, tap Reboot.
5. After the projector has restarted, log in with your user account.

Activating IMB marriage

After selecting the IMB type, you must install the IMB and complete marriage to display secure
content. You cannot complete marriage remotely.
The marriage wizard requires you to confirm that the IMB has not been tampered with.
1. Install the IMB in the available slot on the projector.

020-102582-XX) or the documentation provided by the IMB manufacturer.
2. In the left navigation menu, tap Service Setup > Marriage Setup.
3. Tap Start and confirm that the security manager (SM), service door, and marriage ring are
secure.
4. Tap Next and complete the marriage checklist, confirming that the following are secure:
All fan clips are tightened on the four fan pack at the front of the light engine
compartment.
Fan pack spring pins are locked in place to prevent removal of the light engine fan pack.
Projector front cover is installed.
5. Tap Next and enter the Marriage user and password credentials.
6. Tap Login.
7. To start the marriage process, press the Marriage button on the projector within 30 seconds.
