Time and Date Display

The time and date display in the center of your screen.

Change the Time Format

You can change the appearance of the time display.
The phone currently supports both 12 and 24-hour formats.
Procedure
1. Press Home .
2. Go to Preferences > Time Format.
3. Press Enter repeatedly to cycle through the available time formats.
4. After you select a time format, press Home

Change the Date Format

You can change the appearance of the date display.
Options include MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YY, Month/Day/Year, and others.
Procedure
1. Press Home .
2. Go to Preferences > Date Format.
3. Press Enter repeatedly to cycle through the available date formats.
4. After you select a date format, press Home

Backlight Intensity and Timeout

The backlight automatically turns on with any phone activity.
By setting Dim Screen, you can determine how long the phone should be idle before the backlight dims to
its idle intensity. By default, the backlight dims after the phone is idle for 30 seconds.

Enable Dim Screen

You can enable the dim screen so your screen automatically dims after the phone is idle.
Procedure
1. Press Home .
2. Go to Preferences > Dim Screen.
3. Press the Enable soft key.
4. Press Home to exit Preferences and confirm your selection.
