This places the active call on hold, and the incoming call becomes active.
Answer a Call from an Expansion Module
You can answer calls using the line keys on your VVX phone or from your connected expansion module.
Procedure
» Press the expansion module line key that has the flashing green LED indicator.

Holding and Resuming Calls

When you are in a call, you can place an active audio call on hold and resume the call.
When you place a call on hold, the Mute key indicators on the system and microphones are red. When
you are placed on hold, the Mute key indicators on the system and microphones flash green.

Hold a Call

While a call is connected, you can place the call on hold.
Procedure
» Do one of the following:
Press the Hold soft key. This holds only the highlighted call on the screen.
Press the Hold feature key. This holds all calls that are in a holdable state.

Resume a Call

You can view and resume all held calls on the phone.
Procedure
» Do one of the following:
Press the Resume soft key. This resumes only the highlighted call on the screen.
Press the call key that hosts the call to resume. This resumes the call only if it is in the
holding state.
Note: You cannot Resume function to assign to a feature key. Instead, use the
Conference function.

Resume a Call on an Expansion Module

You can resume calls placed on hold by other contacts from your expansion module connected to
supported VVX business IP phone, OBi edition.
A flashing red LED light on a line key on the expansion module indicates a call is on hold on the contact's
line.
Procedure
» Press the line key corresponding to the line with the held call.
