Group Paging enables you to send pages—one-way audio announcements—to contacts subscribed to a
page group.
Your administrator can enable your phones to operate in a broadcast mode called Group Paging mode. In
this mode, you can broadcast one-way announcements to a specified group of phones, called a Paging
Group.
To send and receive pages, you need to subscribe to certain paging groups.
Send a Group Page
When you send a group page, all contacts subscribed to that group hear the broadcast.
Procedure
1. Press the Group Page feature key.
Once you've joined, the feature key LED is red and your phone plays audio from the paging group.
2. Do one of the following:
Press and hold the Group Page feature key to talk to the group.
If your administrator enabled one touch sending, press and release the feature key to talk.
To stop talking, press the feature key again.
Leave a Group Page
After you have joined a group page, you'll continue receiving and sending broadcasts until you leave the
group page.
You must be in an active group page to leave a group page.
Procedure
» Press the Group Page feature key.
The LED goes off.
