5.15 Replacing the blade motor

1.
Put the main switch in position 0.
For Husqvarna Automower

Dismantle the skid plate, 3 screws (Torx 20).
Remove the bearing, 1 screw (socket head
4).
Remove the blade disc, 3 screws (Torx 20).
For GARDENA R100Li, R100LiC, R130Li, R130LiC
and R160Li,
Dismantle the blade disc, 3 screws (Torx 20).

Disassemble the body. See 5.2.1

Set the cutting height adjustment to MAX.

Disassemble the chassis. See 5.2.2
Disassembling the chassis on page 59.
6.
Remove the gear wheel, 1 screw (Torx XX)
7.
Remove the blade motor bracket, 4 screws
(Torx 20).
8.
Disconnect the blade motor cable from the
main circuit board.
9.
Lift the sealing strip from the lower chassis
where the blade motor cable passes through
the wall to the area for the blade motor and
release the cable bracket.
10. Release the blade motor cable from the
battery holder.
11. Lift the blade motor out of the lower chassis.
12. Fit the new blade motor.
13. Refit the blade motor bracket.
Note! Make sure that the index marking on the gear
wheel of the screw is align with the arrow on the blade
motor bracket. The knob on the blade motor is to be
in the same level as the upper surface on the blade
motor bracket.
14. Refit the gear wheel and make sure the gear
wheel is fitted correctly on the blade motor
bracket. Tighten the screw to recommended
torque.
15. Connect the blade motor cable to the main
circuit board and fasten the cables to the
chassis with the cable brackets.

17. Refit the cutting equipment.
