5�7 Replacing charging strips:
When the mower's battery does not recharge
this may be due to worn charging strips in the
mower. The charging strips should be replaced
when blackened or if there is oxide. Also check
the charging strips in the charging station, see
5.6 Replacing contact strips, charging station on
page 53.
1.
To avoid scratches, remove the body. See
5.2.1 Dismantling body on page 50.

To avoid scratches, remove the display
cover. See 5.2.2 Dismantling display cover
on page 50.
3.
Turn the mower upside down.
4.
Unscrew the four screws (Torx 20) that
secure the rear wheel's two bearing
housings to the rear wheel bracket.
5.
Remove the rear wheel.
6.
Unscrew the three screws (Torx 20) that
secure the rear wheel's bracket to the
lower section of the chassis.
7.
Carefully lift away the rear wheel bracket.
NOTE! Take care to not damage the
charging cable assembly.
8.
Unscrew the two screws (Torx 20) that
attach the charging cable assembly and the
charging strips in the rear wheel bracket.
NOTE! Note the position for the red and
black cables respectively to ensure that
they are reconnected correctly later.
9.
Remove the charging strips and fit new
ones. Always change both charging strips
at the same time.
10. Assemble the charging cable assembly.
NOTE! Check that the long red cable and
the short black one are mounted in the
right place. Incorrect assembly results in
charging not taking place and can cause
damage to the mower and the charging

station. Also check that the rubber grommet
is positioned correctly and provides a
satisfactory seal.
11. Assemble the rear wheel bracket, the rear
wheel, the rear wheel bearings and the
bearing housings.
12. Fit the display cover and body. Se 5.2.4
Assembling chassis, display cover and
body on page 51.
5�8 Replacing the battery
1.
Put the main switch in position 0.
2.
Turn the mower upside down.
3.
Clean around the battery cover.
4.
Unscrew the four screws to the battery
cover (Torx 20) and remove the battery
cover.
5.
Pull the battery out by pulling the strapping
6.
Put the main switch in position 0.
7.
Turn the mower upside down.
8.
Install a new Husqvarna original battery.
NOTE! Press on the contact piece to put
the battery in place.
