6. TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
Dirt/leaves/grass have
accumulated in the charging
station and are preventing the
mower's charging strip from
making contact with the charging
station's charging strip.
N signal from the antenna plate
is faulty.
The cables for the charging strips
in the mower are not connected
or connected incorrectly.
The cables for the contact strips
in the charging station are not
connected or are connected
incorrectly.
The mower cannot detect the
F field and therefore does not turn
in front of the charging station.
Cause
Impaired battery capacity.
The PARK mode is activated.
TIMER settings are preventing
the mower from leaving the
charging station.
The mower never becomes
fully charged.
The power supply is faulty.
Action
Clean the charging station.
Check the N signal. See 2.7 Tools menu, functions
on page 28.
Check that the cable lugs for the charging strips
are intact and properly connected. Ensure the
correct cable is connected to the right charging
strip. Remember that plus and minus must be
correctly connected. See 5.5 Replacing the
charging strips on page 64.
Make sure the cable lugs for the contact strips are
intact and properly connected. Ensure the correct
cable is connected to the right charging strip.

charging station on page 76.
Check the LED on the charging station.
See 6.4 Troubleshooting the loop signal on
page 90.
Action
Perform a battery test to determine the battery's
capacity. See 6.6 Battery test on page 94.
Press down the START button and select Main
area or Secondary area.
Check the TIMER settings. Also check that the
clock shows the current time.
Check that the mower is receiving the charging
power. Check that the value for Current
corresponds with the guideline values in section
1.14 Battery on page 18. If there is no, or too
low charge current, grind off any deposits on the
charging strips on the mower and the contact
strips in the charging station. Use an emery cloth
and lubricate with a copper paste Also check that
the cabling in the charging station and to the
mower's charging strip is correctly connected
and that they are not damaged.
Check that the mower is receiving the charging
power. Check that the value for Current
corresponds with the guideline values in section
1.14 Battery on page 18.
