Disconnect the cable from the lift sensor circuit
board. Note: Always pull the connector and NOT
the cable.
4.
Remove the lift sensor circuit board by carefully
bending up the snap-on fasteners and lifting out
the sensor circuit board.
5.
Fit the new sensor circuit board and reconnect the
cable.
6.
Refit the chassis and body.
5.14.4 Front collision sensor
The front collision sensor is composed of a magnet and an
associated sensor circuit board. The magnet is fitted in the
holder of the charging strips which is placed underneath
in the front of the body. The charging strip holder also
protects against ingress of dirt between the top cover
and the body. The magnet must be fitted correctly if the
collision sensor is to work. If the collision sensor does not
work, replace the charging strip holder. See 5.5 Replacing
the charging strips on page 64.
To replace the front collision sensor circuit board:
1.
Disassemble the body. See 5.2.1 Disassembling
the body on page 59.
2.
Disassemble the chassis. See 5.2.2
Disassembling the chassis on page 59.
3.
Disconnect the HMI cable from the main board.
4.
Disconnect the cable from the collision sensor
circuit board. Note: Always pull the connector and
NOT the cable.
5.
Remove the front collision sensor circuit board
by carefully bending up the snap-on fasteners and
lifting out the sensor circuit board.
6.
Fit the new sensor circuit board and reconnect the
cable.
7.
Refit the chassis and body.
