Rinsing / Cleaning Print head

Clean the print head if the print quality is impaired
Briefly pressing the [ON/OFF] button and the [INK] button will start a rinse cycle. his
means that the return pump stops working and only the flow pump runs for about one
second to rinse ink from the nozzles.
Instruction
Please rinse the print head as follows:

Wipe nozzle plate

Material damage due to ink leavings!
Rinsing of the MX-Top print head results increased ink
consumption and can lead to undesirable contamination
of the environment.
Therefore:
Secure the environment against leaking ink.
Afterwards wipe the nozzle plate once with a lint-free
cloth
Procedure
Press the [ON-/OFF]-button and the [INK]-button.
Material damage due to improper handling!
The printhead nozzle plate is extremely sensitive and can
be irreparably damaged if improperly handled.
Therefore:
NEVER wipe over a dry nozzle plate.
Use only the cleaning cloths recommended and
available from us.
Do NOT wipe back and forth over the nozzle plate.
Wipe in one go and in one direction.
Do not apply pressure to the nozzle plate.
Use only the cleaning agents recommended and
offered by us.
