Mounting the Module on a Plate
The optical link modules have three holes drilled in them. This allows them to be mounted on any
flat surface, for example on a mounting plate of a wiring closet.
Drill three holes in the mounting plate as shown in the drill diagram in Figure 20.
Secure the module with machine screws (for example M 3 x 40).
Make sure that there is reliable electrical contact between the module casing and mounting
plate.
Use toothed washers below the screw heads to break through the painted surface.
