GTR 8000 Base Radio Reference
Reference information for GTR 8000 Base Radios and subsystems includes LED states and
specifications for individual GTR 8000 Base Radio RFDS modules.
This chapter contains supplemental reference information relating to GTR 8000 Base Radio.
10.1

GTR 8000 Base Radio LEDs

Many of the LEDs on the GTR 8000 Base Radio provide an indication for one or more the following
conditions:
Lamp Test
The Lamp Test state verifies that the indicators are operational. For Lamp Test, the LEDs stay in
this state for a second or less.
Failure
A failure has occurred that can be fixed only through replacement. If a reason other than a
hardware fault is causing the state, Impaired is noted.
Impaired
The device is not fully operational due to internal or external causes. Some corrective action must
be taken to get back to 100% operation.
Booting Up
The device is not in service due to running of diagnostics or initializing.
Online
The device is fully operational.
The LEDs for the transceiver and power amplifier modules can be viewed through the door next to the
fans with the door opened or closed.
