Table 1-11
shows the backup, restore, and duplication paths for NetBackup Fibre
Transport (FT) for NetBackup appliances. It also shows the FT settings from the
NetBackup Appliance Web Console that enable a functionality.
FT requires the following appliance software versions:
NetBackup 5330 appliance versions 2.6.1 and later are compatible with
NetBackup 50xx deduplication appliance versions 1.4.2 and later.
NetBackup 52xx and 53xx appliances must use software version 2.7.3 and later
on both the source host and the target host to duplicate data.
