3-10 HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION
Note: Refer to Figures 3-11 - 3-12 for lift and
fold hydraulic diagrams for 7430-23' model.
Refer to Figures 3-13 - 3-14 for lift and fold hy-
draulic diagrams for 7430-26' model. See Fig-
ures 3-19 - 3-20 for optional bolt on wing fold
hydraulic diagram and fold cylinder placement
drawing.

Install the 4 x 10 master lift cylinders on
the center frame lifts and frame using the
pins and roll pins provided.

Install the 3-3/4 x 10 slave lift cylinders
on the wing frame lifts and adjustable anchor
using the pins and roll pins provided.

Attach the base end of the 4 x 30 fold
cylinder to the fold cylinders mounts on the
center frame with the pins and roll pins pro-
vided. Position the cylinders so the hydraulic
ports point forward.

Using a 1-1/4 x 6-1/8 fold pin, flat wash-
ers, and 5/16 x 2-1/2 roll pins, attach the rod
end of the 4" x 30" cylinders to the slotted
mounts on the wing frames.

Install 90 degree restrictor fittings in the
rod end of each 4" x 30" cylinder.

THESE RESTRICTORS, OR IMPROPER
INSTALLATION CAN RESULT IN SERI-
OUS DAMAGE TO THE IMPLEMENT.

Install 90 degree regular adapter fittings
in the base end of the 4" x 30" cylinders and
both ends of all lift cylinders.

Install the front manifold to the manifold
bracket on the front center gang using 1/2-13
x 3-1/2 hex head cap screws and hex lock
nuts.

On 33' models, attach the manifold to
the rear manifold brackets on the implement
using 1/2-13 x 3-1/2 hex head cap screws
and hex lock nuts.

Install lift system hoses per Figures
3-11, 3-13, 3-15, and 3-17. Wrap lift system
hoses with blue hose wrap.

Attach hose clamp brackets to the
scraper bar (See Figure 3-21). On 33' units,
attach a hose clamp in the ninth hole from
the center of the machine on each side of
the front gangs. Secure hoses to the brack-
ets with hose clamps, 3/8-16 x 1-3/4 hex
head cap screws, and hex lock nuts.

Install fold system hoses per Figures
3-12, 3-14, 3-16, 3-18, and 3-19 Wrap fold
system hoses with yellow hose wrap.

Install restrictors, hoses and couplers
in the optional hydraulic leveler if so
equipped (See Section 3-4). Wrap hydraulic
leveler hoses with black hose wrap.

Install plugs in any remaining open
manifold, valve, or cylinder ports.
