4.3.1 Creating the Module

1 Add the MVI56E-MNETC module to the project.
In the Controller Organization window, select I/O C
the right mouse button to open a shortcut menu. On the shortcut menu,
choose N
EW
This action opens the Select Module dialog box.
2 Select the 1756-M
This action opens the New Module dialog box.
3 In the New Module dialog box, enter the following values.

Important: You must select the Comm Format as D
module will not communicate over the backplane of the ControlLogix rack.
