Overview

The safety card monitors safety functions in accordance with EN 61800-5-2. It monitors
safe motion sequences on drives, which are safely brought to a stop and shut down in the
event of an error.
The safety card is built into a servo amplifier PMCprotego D. This converts the servo ampli-
fier into a safe servo amplifier.
A safe drive system from Pilz consists of the following:
