5.2 Static alignment
Significant optimisation of the bench alignment is possible using the
L.A.S.A.R. Posture.
5.2.1 TT prostheses
The following alignment is used to achieve the highest possible degree of
physiological knee stability for TT prostheses.
Positioning the load line in the sagittal plane:
The foot must be positioned so that the load line runs 15 mm in front of the
knee's compromise pivot point.
5.2.2 TF Modular prostheses
Follow the „Alignment Recommendations for TF Modular Lower Limb Pros-
theses according to MOBIS®" (order no.: 646F219) and the instructions
on bench alignment and static alignment contained in the instructions for
use of the 3WR95 Aqua Knee.
5.3 Dynamic alignment optimisation
Dynamic optimisation must be performed during trial walking.
5.4 Adjustment and final assembly
Please observe the following additional steps during adjustment and fi-
nal assembly of the 1WR95=L/R-0-W/4 Aqua Foot:
1) To bond and seal at the same time, coat the glue surfaces of the foot
and the 2K34 molded ankle part twice with ORTHOCRYL sealing resin.
2) Screw the foot and the moulded ankle part together immediately after
applying the second coat.
3) Remove any sealing resin which escapes from the glued joint immediately.
4) Use 636W17 adhesive to install the included plug in order to seal the
screw access hole in the sole of the foot, making sure to push the plug
all the way in.
