4. To apply the new DTM address(es) press Apply.
The new DTM addresses are displayed in the project view of PACTware.

Set device address

The table in the Set device address window shows the HART devices connected to the
adapter. The device address is the device long tag stored in the device.

Note!
Additional functions > Set device address is available only online (connection to the
adapter active).
Note!
The Device Tag parameterized in the Set Device Address window must be identical with
the Device Tag of the same device parameterized in the Set DTM Address window.
Otherwise the DTM is not able to establish a connection to the device.

Changing the device address
1. Place the cursor inside a cell of the Device Tag column.
2. Change the device tag as required. You may change the tags of several devices at
once, if needed.
3. To apply the new DTM address(es) press Apply.
The new DTM addresses are stored to the devices.
