EMOVING THE
Removing the Protective Faceplate from the Chassis
If you need to install additional ATM Interface Modules in the other slots,
remove the protective faceplate as follows:
1 With a #2 flat-blade screwdriver, loosen the large screws.
2 Remove the faceplate and put it aside for future use.
If you are not using a particular slot at this time, 3Com recommends that
you leave its protective faceplate on.
To install the ATM Interface Module into the chassis:
CAUTION: Before you start the installation process, see "Safety
Precautions" on page 17.
1 Pick up the ATM Interface Module and hold it a vertical position, with the
ports facing you, the LEDs at the top, and the daughter cards facing to
the right (Figure 33).
