After you have installed the daughter cards into the ATM Interface
Module, the module is ready to be installed into the CoreBuilder 9000
7-slot chassis. This section describes how to install an ATM Interface
Module into the 7-slot chassis.
To install an ATM Interface Module you need:

The ATM Interface Module with daughter cards installed

A #2 flat-blade screwdriver
You can install up to six ATM Interface Modules in slots 1 through 6. Slot
numbers are located on the left of the chassis for easy identification.
The CoreBuilder 9000 7-slot chassis is shipped with slots 1 and 7 open;
blank faceplates cover the remaining slots. An additional slot, slot 8,
which is also open, is reserved for the EME module. You can install the
first ATM Interface Module in slots 1 through 6.

Removing the Protective Faceplate from the Chassis
If you need to install additional ATM Interface Modules in the other slots,
remove the protective faceplate as follows:
1 With a #2 flat-blade screwdriver, loosen the large screws.
2 Remove the faceplate and put it aside for future use.
