4 Hold the OC-12c/STM-4 card and gently lift upwards until the connectors
disengage (Figure 22).

5 Raise the back of the OC-12c/STM-4 daughter card to a ~20° angle to
the horizontal, and remove the card from the ATM Interface Carrier
Module in a backwards direction (Figure 22).
6 Replace the protective faceplate as follows:
a Insert the faceplate into the ATM Interface Carrier Module from the
back, taking care to cover the cutout completely.
b Replace the three countersink screws that are included with the
faceplate.
