The following tables provide basic hardware and software troubleshooting in-
formation.
Possible cause
Voltage selector terminal setting error
Fuse is blown.
Voltage selector terminal setting error
Circuit board is short-circuited, or
burnt.
Start input is OFF.
Programming error
Power line is defective.
Power circuit is defective.
I/O bus is defective.
I/O Connecting Cable is defective.
(Cable wiring is broken.)
I/O bus is defective.
I/O bus is defective.
I/O bus is defective.

FM Data Transfer Flag
FM Blocks Different Error Flag
FM Write-protected Error Flag
Unsuccessful FM Write Flag
FM Checksum Error Flag
File Memory Unit Low Battery Flag
Leftmost digit of FALS-generating address (AR 25
contains the other four digits)
Rightmost four digits of FALS-generating address
(AR 2400 to AR 2403 contain the fifth digit)
Connect the voltage selector terminal
correctly.
Replace fuse.
Connect the voltage selector terminal
correctly.
Replace CPU Rack Power Supply
Unit or Backplane.
Turn the start input ON.
Correct the program.
