Remove the rear end cap hood from the
hood assembly.
Remove the new M5X10 socket head
cap screw with M5 Flat and Spring
washers to disengage the retaining
sleeve from the rear bracket assembly
as shown.
Pull the swivel knob and remove the
cable harness assembly with retaining
sleeve from the pillar as shown in fig 6A
& 6B.
Note: While removing the harness if the
connector gets stuck in the slot inside
the pillar, slowly pull it back, rotate the
harness & remove it again.
Hold the heater hood firmly on both
sides as shown and remove the four nos
of M5X16 Socket head cap screws with
M5 Spring washer & M5 Flat washer.
CAUTION: - Two people are
required for this activity; one FE and
another can be an unskilled person. If
the heater hood is not held firmly as
shown, the Heater, Hood Spacer plate
and Hood top plate will come off the
assembly.
