1. Shut off and drain the boiler on the heating water
and DHW sides. See page 127.
2. Pivot the control unit forwards. See page 34.
3. Undo 2 screws . Pull plate heat exchanger

to the side and lift out.

4. Remove thermal insulation
5. Check the connections on the heating water and
DHW sides for contamination and scaling; replace
the plate heat exchanger if necessary.
6. Install in reverse order using new gaskets.
