Filling the fuel cell module system separation...
09. Fill with water until no more air escapes from vent
connection
A
.
Note
Ensure that the pressure in the system separation
circuit is between 1.5 and 2.0 bar during the entire
filling process. Check the pressure at pressure
gauge
.
K
10. When fill water runs out without bubbles, slowly
open valve
. This purges the air from the inter-
E
nal indirect coil in the cylinder.
11. When fill water runs out without bubbles again,
close valve
.
E
12. Turn on both ON/OFF switches (see page 58).
Start the fuel cell module circulation pump via an
actuator test. System separation circuit pump in
Fuel cell group (see page 98).
13. When fill water runs out without bubbles again,
fully open valve
.
E
14. Flush the system separation circuit by running the
circulation pump until fill water runs out without
bubbles. Place the Fuel cell module 3-way valve
into the heating and DHW positions for 20 s each
(see page 98). Then return it to the central posi-
tion.

Filling the gas condensing module and heating circuits

Fill water
According to EN 1717 with DIN 1988-100, as a heat
transfer medium for DHW heating, the heating water
must meet fluid category ≤ 3. This requirement is met if
water of potable quality is used as heating water. For
example, if additives are used, the additive manufac-
turer must specify which category the treated heating
water comes under.

to adjust it to 1.5 to 1.6 bar
(0.15 - 0.16 MPa).
17. Fully close vent connection

and adjust if necessary.

19. Switch off the fuel cell module circulation pump
(System separation circuit pump) via an actuator
test.
!
Please note
Unsuitable fill water increases the level of
deposits and corrosion and may lead to appli-
ance damage.
Flush the heating system thoroughly before
filling.
Only use fill water of potable water quality.
Special antifreeze suitable for heating systems
can be added to the fill water. The antifreeze
manufacturer must verify its suitability.
Fill and top-up water with a water hardness in
excess of the following values must be soft-
ened, e.g. with a small softening system for
heating water.
