04. Turn on the ON/OFF switch on the fuel cell mod-
ule.
05. Use / to select "11".
06. Press SET. A dot will flash in ITEM (commission-
ing mode 1 enabled).

A fault has arisen if "n1", "n2" or "n3" is flashing in
STATE.
07. Use / to select "on".
08. Press SET to confirm.

09. Fill with distilled water (VDE 0510).
Distilled water (5 l) is available as an accessory
(see parts list).
When indicators "01" to "02" are flashing: Fill with
distilled water until water runs out of the trap drain
at the rear.

Please note
Commissioning with non-distilled water
(VDE 0510) (e.g. tap water) will damage the
appliance.
Fill only with the distilled water supplied or
available as an accessory (VDE 0510).
Danger
Escaping flue gas can damage your health.
Ensure that the integral trap is filled with
water.
10. Once water has run from the drain, filling is com-
plete.
11. Remove funnel from the filler neck and secure

it to the front panel with the screw.
12. Push cover onto the filling aperture and secure

with the screw.
13. Fit the closure of vent aperture
14. Confirm filling with SET. A venting program will
then start. The process takes about 40 to 60 min.
15. Open the gas shut-off valve.
16. Check the distilled water filter element and con-
nections for tightness.
17. Refit the cover panel.
18. When "05" is displayed in STATE, the venting
process has finished and the start phase will com-
mence. The starting procedure automatically fol-
lows the venting program and takes approx.
60 min.
