Before beginning production, start the Bravo™ 8105 System and all of its
components to ensure proper operation.
Access the Recipe Screen by pressing function key F7 or by selecting Recipe
from the Menu Bar at the top of the screen. Ensure that the desired recipe is
selected in the Recipe Select drop down window. The Recipe is not active until
the "Load Recipe" button is selected at the bottom of the screen.
Start the machine in Auto Mode and run the test recipe, allowing the machine to
reach temperature setpoint.
In the Process Screen (either Graphic or Tabular) ensure that "AUTO" is chosen in
the Machine Mode field. Press the Start button to initiate a controlled Power Up
of the machine components. Alternately, press Function Key F2.
The machine is in AUTO Mode if the label near "Machine Mode" displays
"Automatic". Additionally a button displays "Go to Manual" near the same label.
To AUTO Start the Bravo™ System, click on the Start button associated with
Machine Mode, or press Function Key F2.
Stop the Bravo™ 8105 in Auto Stop Mode and verify that the blowers stay On
until the temperature drops below 95° C (203° C).
To Auto Stop the Bravo™ 8105 System, click on the Stop button or press
Function Key F3.
The Blowers should continue to operate until the temperature indication on the
Process Screen is below 95° C (203° C).
ATTENTION
It can take quite a while for the machine to cool below 95° C (203° C) if the
hood and chamber remain closed. If it is desired to test the blower shut–off
feature, set the heater temperature to 100° C.
Select Auto Stop as soon as the heaters reach temperature. It should take only a
few minutes to fall below 95° C (203° C).
