The Bravo™ 8105 Conveyor is tested at the factory and verified to perform to
±2.5 cm/ min (±0.1 in./min.) Test the Conveyor for smooth operation and verify
the speed accuracy according to the following paragraphs.
Ensure that the Security Level allows access to Start and Stop the Bravo™ 8105.
Ensure that Manual Mode is selected. The machine is in Manual Mode if the label
near "Machine Mode" displays "Manual". Additionally a button displays "Go to
Auto" near the same label.
Start the Conveyor manually by toggling the Conveyor On/Off button located
below the bar graph for the Conveyor setpoints on the Process Graphic screen.
To set the Conveyor Speed, highlight the speed, type in a new value and press
enter.
• Stopwatch
• Tape Measure
• At the Load End of the Bravo™ 8105, mark a reference point with a pencil in a
location similar to the position shown in Figure 2–31.
• Using a standard tape measure, connect the tape measure so that it is
secured to the mesh belt of the Bravo™ 8105.
• Using a stop watch, operate the Conveyor for 30 seconds.
• Note the measurement that is next to the reference mark on the Conveyor
end. Multiply the result times two (x 2). It should be the value of the Con-
veyor Setpoint Speed in the Process screen.
