Keep the Bravo™ crated until installation preparation is complete. To minimize
potential damage, move the Bravo™ to the installation site before uncrating.
CAUTION
HEAVY OBJECT — Do not attempt to move large assemblies without the use of a
fork lift or appropriate rigging equipment. Attempting to lift by hand will cause
injury to personnel and possibly equipment damage.
Step
Transport system crate to the general vicinity of installation using a
1
forklift that is specified to safely handle the system's shipping
weight. Refer to the Technical Data.
Using a circular saw with a rip cut blade, adjust the blade depth to
2
approximately 2 cm (¾ in.). Carefully cut one (1) end panel of the
crate as illustrated by the dotted line in Figure 2–1, approximately
20 cm (8 in.) from the top of the crate.
Repeat Step 2 for the opposite end of the crate.
3
Adjust the depth of the circular saw blade to maximum depth.
4
Cut along the length (long side) of one (1) side of the top edge of the
5
crate approximately 20 cm (8 in.) from the top of the crate, again
illustrated in Figure 2–1.
Make an additional cut using the circular saw along the length of the
6
opposite side of the top edge of the crate, again approximately 20
cm (8 in.) from the top of the crate.
The top of the crate is now free from the crate as illustrated in B.
7
Carefully slide the top of the crate off using several personnel or
with the aid of a fork lift.
