The system arrives carefully padded and secured. Refer to Figure 2–3. Remove
the packaging materials form the locations outlined below.
• Remove the strapping from the perimeter of the system.
• Remove the foam padding and packaging tape covering the external areas of
the system.
• Remove any desiccant packs placed inside the system's electrical cabinet and
hood covers near the blower fans.
• The entire system is wrapped in moisture absorbent plastic to prevent dam-
age to the equipment during transit. Remove the plastic form the system.
• Cut and remove the strapping securing all cardboard containers and optical
components secured to the system skid.
• Carefully place all components in a safe place close to the site of installation
for further installation procedures.
• Verify that all parts of the machine are present. In addition to this manual, a
bill of materials (BOM), mechanical drawings and electrical schematics are
included. Sales drawings with facility requirements are included in the docu-
mentation package to aid installation.
