Inspection at Installation

Do not discard any boxes or packing material until an inspection is performed at
the installation site.
Check all parts that are crated or boxed separately. Motor vents and exposed
shafts or moving parts may be taped or sealed with special sealants. Remove all
tape and plastic. Use mineral spirits with a clean rag to wipe off any sealant
residues.
Visually inspect for concealed damage. Check for damage to instruments and
controls. Check for dents or punctures in the enclosures. Inspect the Shock Meter
located at the Unload End of the upper chamber on the outside of the machine.
Refer to Figure 2–8.
All machines are supplied with a tool and accessory kit, a technical manual,
mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Report any loss or damage to a
Speedline Electrovert® representative immediately.
A depicts the Shock Meter installed at the Unload End of the system. If the Shock
Meter is fractured, contact a Speedline Electrovert® representative.
