• Mark a place on rail to use as a reference point.
• Using a stop watch, measure the time it takes for that point to travel a pre–
measured distance.
• Use the following formula to calculate speed: Speed = Length/Time
ATTENTION
When a conveyor is the Combination type that has both a Pin Chain Conveyor
and a Mesh Belt Conveyor, the Pin Chain is the determining component for speed
calibration.
