Troubleshooting

This chapter will support you in evaluating errors and help you with their elimination.
What to do in the event of malfunctions / sabotage
Malfunction report
The CamDisc HNVR logfile LED on the housing front side indicates malfunctions. In addition, a log entry will
be written to the logfile on the hard disk, refer to "Logfile" on page 41. Moreover, certain messages will be
reported by relay, provided this relay has been configured as an Error relay. The Logfile LED relay indicates
the state of the Error relay for CamControl LITE or CamControl PRO software.

back on immediately. Fast switching off and on
has the impact of a power failure. Wait for about
10 seconds after switching off the device before
switching it back on again.

CamDisc HNVR reaction
Error will be indicated by the Logfile LED and reported to a
CamControl LITE station (depending on configuration) by
the Error relay.
The error will be indicated by the Logfile LED, written to the
logfile on the hard disk (if still possible) and forwarded to a
CamControl station (depending on configuration).
Error relay opens (if so configured).
The condition will be indicated by Logfile LED and reported
by the Error relay (depending on configuration).
With a warning threshold set to <100%, the device will
continue operation until the respective camera track on this
disk is full. Then recording on this track will be stopped until
deletion will release recording again.

Remedy
1. Reinitialise the hard disk
2. Inspect the archive settings in the image archiving
device. Has the desired recording type been
configured? Have the camera tracks been set
correctly?
Record some pictures before attempting to access the
archive. Check the archive settings.
