Switch On/Off
CamDisc HNVR will be initialised after switch on. Depending on configuration,
this may take up to 45 seconds. Avoid switching on immediately followed by
switching off. This may lead to loss of data. Only switch off the device after
operating mode (i.e. after initialisation) has been reached:
After switching on, the Live and Record LEDs light up for approx. 5
l
seconds.
After approximately a further 40 seconds, the Power LED is lit
l
permanently and indicates the device is ready to operate
After approximately a further 5 seconds, image recording starts and image
l
transmission is similarly possible
During the device shutdown process, any ongoing write operations on the
l
storage medium are first concluded before the video system is finally shut
down
Lights up continuously approx. 45 seconds after switching on to indicate that
the device is ready to operate.
Delete user specific passwords and user names by pressing pushbutton
Reset (e.g. with the tip of a ball point pen) for 10 seconds, until LED Power
starts flashing. Subsequently CamDisc HNVR will be restarted automatically.
No other passwords or setup data will be deleted besides user passwords.
An illuminated LED in combination with illuminated LED Error (5) indicates
video signal failure of the respective video input. Tip: Deactivate unused
camera inputs using device settings.
When all video LEDs flash simultaneously, this indicates preparation of an
HDD standby (for example prior to switching off the video system).
A LED chaser light from left to right indicates hard disk initialisation.
An illuminated red LED indicates malfunctions, such as system errors or video
signal failure. Viewing the CamDisc HNVR logfile resets the indicator. You
can configure the onboard CamDisc HNVR relays so that an error will also
activate a relay.
An illuminated LED indicates an online connection.
