Used Equipment Disposal

WEEE registration
Since December 2005, CamDisc HNVR has been registered in accordance with the EU WEEE directive
(2002/96/EC Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and has been complying with the law regarding the
marketing, taking back and environmentally-friendly disposal of electrical and electronic equipment (Electrical
and Electronic Equipment Act, ElektroG) from 16th March 2005.
The WEEE directive is an EU directive that aims to reduce the increasing quantity of electronic scrap
resulting from waste electrical and electronic equipment. The objective is to avoid and reduce the increasing
quantity of electronic scrap and to dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly manner through a policy of
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

Disposing of used equipment from private households in the European Union
The symbol on the product, its operating instructions or packaging indicates that this
product may not be disposed of through the normal domestic waste at the end of its
useful life. It must be brought to a collection centre for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment. The materials are recyclable as per their labelling. Reuse,
material recovery and other forms of used equipment recycling represent an important
contribution to environmental protection.

local waste disposal companies or the shop where you bought this product.
