7 TROUBLESHOOTING

Documented Problems and Solutions

7.1
Failure
C L I N I P O R A T O R does
not turn on
The LCD monitor does not
turn on
Electricity does not pass
from one electrode to the
other
when
delivering
pulses.
(The message "Current too
low"
should
also
displayed regularly).
If the problem persists even after the described checks, contact the dealer or the Customer Service of
IGEA S.p.A.

Can't open serial device
Charge anomaly detected.
Capacitors will be discharged

Possible causes
The unit is not connected to
the mains voltage or the
mains voltage socket is not
working.
The fuses of the main switch
are burned and need to be
replaced
The monitor has not been
turned on.
The handle and/or the
electrodes are not correctly
connected to the unit.
The handle/ electrode is
be
damaged.
Possible causes
The electrode has already been used
for another patient.
ECG signal is noisy or absent for
more than 120 seconds.
The graphic interface displayed an
error parameter.
The serial cable connection of RFID
is disconnected
Software problem
The charging process of the high
voltage pulse generator cannot be
completed.
Hardware problem
The system detected a very low
current between a couple of needles
during the treatment.
The electrode is disconnected from
CLINIPORATOR
The
handle
is
connected to the electrode (only for
EPS series)
The cable / handle is damaged.
What to do
Check if the power supply cord is
connected to the power supply group
and to a proper and working mains
(Figure 5, ).
Replace the main switch fuses of the unit
as shown in (section 8.4).
ATTENTION! Only use fuses that have
the same features as indicated in the
device Data plate.
Press the power button at the bottom of
the monitor (Figure 3).
Check
CLINIPORATOR's
Handles/electrodes.
Replace the handle/ electrode with a
working one (see section 6.2.2).

Use a new electrode.
Wait for the ECG signal to be restored, then
repeat the treatment.

the Customer Service of IGEA S.p.A.

and restart the device.
