Connecting Power

For the AC power option, use only the AC power adapters and cables provided by VeEX. Take
care when connecting units to the power supply so that wiring is not overloaded.
5.5.1

Powering on/off the unit

To power on the unit:
• On the front of the device, press the ON/OFF button so it is in the ON position. The green
power LED turns on to indicate the device is powered on.
The unit begins to boot up as soon as the power switch is turned on.
To safely power off the unit:
1. Stop monitoring.
2. Press the ON/OFF button so it is in the OFF position. The green power LED turns off to
indicate the device is powered off.
When using an Optical Switch, do not apply power to the RTU until the RTU is
already connected to the OXA4000 Optical switch via the DB25 cable.
