Clicking the View traces blue icon opens the RTU File Viewer as a new tab in your browser. After
editing the trace and event table, click the Set as a reference link in the top left corner, select a
test to which to apply the reference, and then click Apply.
Important note about manually editing a Reference Trace
While an incorrect reference trace will not damage your equipment or optical
fiber, it will produce incorrect monitoring results. It is recommended that you
receive adequate training in making OTDR measurements and editing event
tables before manually editing a Reference Trace.

To enable RTU monitoring, click Monitoring Settings, then click the Enable button.
