Using the Telephone
For example: 9+555-1234.
The telephone number appears on the command line, as
shown below:
Administration
Clipboard
Filecabinet
Floppydisk
Preferences
Printers

Wastebasket
9+555-1234

Press the <Enter> key to dial the number.

Listen for the sound of dialing from the
telephone monitor.
If you do not hear anything, use the volume control on
the right side of the computer base to adjust the
monitor volume.
(Refer to the Setting Up Telephone
Manager section for the location of this control.)
Watch the telephone status line at the top of the
screen.
It should show ACTIVE.

Pick up the telephone handset as you would
with a manual call.
A Dialing message appears on the message line.
