Creating Directory Entries
Creating a Voice Entry
Depending on whether you want to create a voice entry
or a data entry, you use the Create Voice Entry form or
the Create Data Entry form.
The following paragraphs
describe the fields in the Create Voice Entry form,
shown below:

If you display the Create Voice Entry form from your
Filecabinet, you have already named the Phone Number
file.
You should use the same name in this field so
the directory entry matches the file name.
Names can be entered any way you prefer--first name
only, last name then first name, or company name.
Just
remember the following when entering your directory
names:

You can enter up to 45 characters for each
name, the first 17 of which are displayed in
your directory.
o
Names are alphabetized by the first
characters that appear in the form, so that
Albert, Ryan would appear before Benson,
James,
for example.
