22.3

The display module

22.3.1 Function

The display module can be fitted on the CPU module or mounted separately with the RDA set, e.g. on
a control panel. The display module consists of:
• A dot-matrix display (128 * 64 pixel) with a white backlight.
In case of a device fault or alarm, the backlight flashes red.
• Six keys
• An optical M-Bus interface (interface 2, independent of other M-Bus interfaces )
• A connector for communicating with the CPU module.
For devices with protective housings (Prot),
the protective foil is fitted on the cover, not on
the display module.

22.3.3 Contents of the main display

The values shown in the main display may vary, depending on the device version or device function.
In devices with conformity assessment, this list must not be changed.
With non-EC conformity tested devices, the displayed values of the main display can be changed us-
ing the AMBUS Win II software
