Installing the SODIMM

Important:
When installing one DDR3L SODIMM only , make sure to install it into the SODIMM 1
socket.
1. The SODIMM sock ets are located on the system board.
2. Note the k ey on the sock et. The k ey ensures the module can be plugged into the sock et in
only one direction.

3. Grasping the module by its edges, align the module into the sock et at an appro ximately 30
degrees angle. Apply firm ev en pressure to each end of the module until it slips down into
the socket. The contact fingers on the edge of the module will almost completely disappear
inside the sock et.

4. Push the module down until the clips at each end of the sock
hear a distinctiv e "click", indicating the module is correctly lock ed into position.
