Safety Precautions
• Use the correct DC input v oltage range.
• Unplug the power cord bef ore remo ving the system chassis co ver f or installation or servic -
ing. After installation or servicing, co ver the system chassis bef ore plugging the power cord.
• Danger of explosion if bat tery incorrectly replaced.
• Replace only with the same or equiv alent type recommend by the manuf acturer.
• Dispose of used bat teries according to local ordinance.
• Keep this system aw ay from humidit y.
• Place the system on a stable surf ace. Dropping it or let ting it f all may cause damage.
• The openings on the system are f or air v entilation to protect the system from o verheating.

• Place the power cord in such a w ay that it will not be stepped on. Do not place an ything on
top of the power cord. Use a power cord that has been appro
and that it matches the v oltage and current mark ed on the system' s electrical r ange label.
• If the system will not be used f or a long time, disconnect it from the power source to a void
damage by tr ansient overvoltage.
• If one of the f ollowing occurs, consult a service personnel:
- The power cord or plug is damaged.
- Liquid has penetr ated the system.
- The system has been exposed to moisture.
- The system is not working properly .
- The system dropped or is damaged.
- The system has obvious signs of breakage.
• The unit uses a three- wire ground cable which is equipped with a third pin to ground the
unit and prev ent electric shock. Do not def eat the purpose of this pin. If y
not support this kind of plug, contact y our electrician to replace the outlet.
• Disconnect the system from the DC outlet bef
