The DIMM slots are structured to ensure proper installation. If you try to insert a DIMM but it does
not fit easily into the slot, you might have positioned it incorrectly. Reverse the orientation of the
DIMM and insert it again.

If removed, install the OCP air baffle and OCP network adapter. Perform steps 5–6 of the OCP
network adapter installation procedure.
8.
Install the server air baffle.
9.
Install the server into the chassis.
10. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
11. Power up the server on page 14.
The installation is complete.
M.2 SATA SSD option
The server has two M.2 slots that support M.2 2280 SATA SSDs.
