Procedure
1.
Power down the server on page 14.
2.
Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
3.
Remove the server from the chassis.
4.
Remove the server air baffle.
5.
If you are installing a processor 1(B) DIMM and an OCP network adapter is installed, remove the
OCP air baffle:
a. Loosen one pair of diagonally opposite screws halfway, and then loosen the other pair of screws.
b. Completely remove all screws in the same sequence.
c. Disconnect the OCP network adapter from the system board.
d. Tilt the OCP network adapter away from the rear bracket.
