B.3.2.1.7
SUSPEND TRANSMIT. This command is used to suspend
(rather than abort) a transmission on the line.
If there is no transmission in progress on the particular serial
channel, the command is ignored. If the transmission is already
suspended, the command is again ignored. A suspended transmission
can be resumed with a subsequent Resume Transmit command.
If there are multiple outstanding transmit requests for the line
the line will remain suspended until a Resume Transmit command is
issued.
Figure B-12 shows the Suspend Transmit message format.
