B.3.2.1.17
SET BREAK.
This command is used to force the
transmission of continuous zeros (i.e. hold the line in a
continuous spacing condition) on a serial channel. This command is
ignored if a transmission is in progress on the line. Once a set
Break command is issued, it must be followed by a Clear Break
command before any transmit Buffer commands are issued on the
particular line.
Figure B-22 shows the set Break message format.
