Host CPU to iSBC Controller Messages
B.3.2.1.2
ENABLE. This command is used by the host CPU to enable
a serial channel. Once enabled, other commands can be directed to
the channel.
The firmware enables the serial channel's receiver
and transmitter
only on this command. The RTS and DTR modem control signals are
asserted and cleared respectively.
An Enable Line command, received when the line is already enabled
is ignored by the controllers.
An Enable Command to the line printer causes a reset pulse to be
issued to the line printer.
The Enable message format is shown in Figure B-7.
