3.2.3 Setting media type

Switch ON the printer and load media.
Step 1 :
Press the [+] key or the [-] key to select the type of the loaded media.
Step 2 :
Press the [ENTER] key.
Step 3 :

The media type is set.

The operation panel displays "Media Initial" and the media initial operation starts.
Notes
The printer starts the media initialization without setting the media type when

Pressing the [Cancel] key.

No key operations are performed for 10 seconds.

After media initial operation is complete, the operation panel displays "Ready to print" and the
display shifts to Normal.

The media is now correctly loaded.
